LASHAWN KINDLE YOUNG, MSW - CHAPTER PRESIDENT

LyNETTE ADAMS-GOODSON

President
Compton Alumnae Chapter

Greetings,

Thank you for visiting our website. On behalf of the members of the Compton Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our official website.

Chartered on March 6, 1989, the Compton Alumnae Chapter has been a driving force in the development of Los Angeles County for over 30 years. As we continue to honor the legacy of our illustrious sorority we also strive to reinforce long-standing strength and eminence within the city of Compton.

As president, it is my sincere hope to continue the rich legacy and foundation laid by our illustrious Founders as well as the strong leadership and administrations of the past. It is equally my goal to provide respectful leadership, support and direction to foster an infrastructure committed to the development of our chapter members, while remaining community focused and engaged both strategically and politically. We are “GREAT OUT OF COMPTON” always pushing for “HIGHER GROUND” as we continue putting “SISTERHOOD FIRST”!

Dedicated to educating and shaping a community, we encourage your support as we continue our efforts centered on the Sorority’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust:

Educational Development
• Economic Development
• International Awareness and Involvement
• Political Awareness
• Physical and Mental Health

I welcome you to visit our website and interact with our members but more importantly the Compton community. Please join us at future meetings, events or volunteer as we continue to serve the city of Compton, Lynwood, West Rancho Dominguez and East Rancho Dominguez.

Thank you for visiting our website.

Sincerely,

Lynette Adams-Goodson
